GREETINGS
Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a great summer. It’s time again to think about Fall and all the new and beautiful yarns and accessories coming in.
Before we talk about Fall, I’m sure you are all interested in the status of Filati.
So many rumors have been floating around, so I’m going to set the record straight.
After talking to many people about selling Filati, we have come to two very important decisions. It just isn’t the right time to sell. Filati means too much to us and to you to close. Therefore, we chose to renew our lease.
Throughout the process, I learned how much Filati is appreciated and valued, and I also heard ideas for
improvement. I want you all to know how excited I am to continue and how committed I am to make Filati even better.
I also want to encourage you to come and sit around the table and knit and have a good time. It’s a great way to get away from all the stress of the day and share ideas with others and get inspired to knit beautiful garments. And most importantly, make new friends.
Now about Fall! I know it’s only July but we do have to start our Christmas projects. We all know it’s never too early to start. To get you started we will be having our end of summer sale starting August 6-15. Our new Fall yams will start coming in at the end of August. We have also planned some trunk shows and lots of workshops.
It’s going to be a wonderful season. Hope to see you all soon.
Janice

I would like to introduce Janice Vance and Cathie Biggins, two new wonderful additions to Filati. Both are avid knitters and are excited to be a part of the store and to help you in any way. Judy Filice is still with us, and is just as happy about our new staff.

NEW LOWER PRICES
As we all know, price is very important to all of us. So starting Sept. 1, 2009 we will be lowering the price by $1.00 on all our basic yams. This includes, Encore, Cascade 220, Cascade 128, Cascade Superwash, Pastazza, Ultra Alpaca, Butterfly Cotton, and Fantasy Naturale.
A lot of people think Filati carries only expensive yarns. We want our customers to know that we carry all price points, and we have a large “yarn outlet” in our store with every day sale prices of up to 50% off. The size of our outlet is the size of many yarn stores.
Our goal is to offer the best prices, selection, and service in Northern California.
LACE GUILD
Just a reminder that the lace guild meets at Filati on the second Saturday of every month. Lew Deyong our favorite lace knitter and all around great guy is the head of this guild. If you enjoy knitting lace, you might want to come and join in the fun.
